“I wasn’t born for rope access — I chose it, even when it scared the hell out of me.”
I’m Levi — a rope access technician, boilermaker, and rigger. I was born Deaf, and I’ve spent my life pushing limits. Rope access wasn’t something that found me — I went after it. I wanted to try something different, chase where the money was, and see what I was really made of. I was scared of heights at first — no shame in that. But I climbed anyway.
Now I’ve welded beams suspended in a harness, rigged massive lifts from dizzying heights, and worked on some of the toughest sites across the country in Australia. What started as a challenge became a lifestyle. And I’ve earned my place with crews who don’t care how you hear — just how you show up, grind hard, and look after your mates.
Being Deaf hasn’t held me back — it’s forced me to adapt smarter, work harder, and stay ahead. It’s sharpened my awareness, strengthened my communication, and made me a more focused rope tech.
That same mindset is behind RopeBurn Apparel. This isn’t just a clothing brand — it’s a voice for those who live the vertical grind. For rope techs, welders, scaffolders, riggers, geotechs, climbers — the ones who earn their altitude through hustle, sweat, and guts.
This gear is made to represent our lifestyle — on site, off duty, or wherever your grind takes you. It’s for the ones who found purpose in pressure, and pride in the climb.
Welcome to RopeBurn Apparel.
